Enermax Squa RGB Square Vortex Fans Review

Enermax Squa RGB Fan Closer Look

If the Fan is Round, Why is it Square?

We’ve seen an elephant fly (twice), but I be done seen ’bout ev’rything when I see a square fan. Enermax did it somehow with the Squa RGB though. Not only did they do it, but the design looks amazing! The unique design on the lighting pattern isn’t complicated, yet I find it extremely “cool” looking. That said, this design also sports a vortex frame. It doesn’t make the fan fly, but it should increase cooling performance.

Enermax LIQFusion 360 Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Enermax LIQFusion 360 Featured

Ultimate RGB Cooling Performance

It wasn’t long ago that CPU coolers were merely fighting for the performance crown. Today, performance is merely a process of looking for a double tower or a big radiator. The real factor for cooling is style. While the LIQFusion 360 is bound to have good performance, the RGB goodness has to stack up as well. We’re still putting Enermax to the test for performance though. Let’s start taking a closer look at this cooler, right after this word from the company. Noctua NH-U12A CPU Cooler with Huge Fan Update

Noctua NH-U12A CPU Cooler News Featured

Adding NF-A12x25 Fans

The Noctua NH-U12A updates what is already a strong legacy for CPU coolers. The original single tower design has great cooling for it’s size and silent operation. Recently though, Noctua updated their fan lineup with the NF-A12x25 series that dramatically improved airflow and static pressure. In my testing of the fans, I had two clear thoughts about them afterwards. First, they needed to be on the CPU coolers, and then we needed a 140mm version. The first thought is a reality. Deepcool Launches Anti-Leak Tech for CLCs

Deepcool Anti-Leak Tech

No More Leaks…Ever?

You don’t need personal experience. Just read a few reviews on Newegg, and you’ll quickly discover the dangers of liquid cooling. The beauty of a closed-loop-cooler (CLC) is that it’s affordable, easy to install, and maintenance free. However, a sealed system is susceptible to pressure issues. Deepcool is coming to the rescue by launching Anti-Leak technology. Continue reading “Deepcool Launches Anti-Leak Tech for CLCs”

Raijintek Mya and Delos RBW – Two Fantastic RGB Air CPU Coolers!

Raijintek Mya CPU Cooler RBW News

Raijintek Does it Again!

It goes without fail. I may not always get a press release from my beloved company. However, if I check back at their site, I’m bound to see an amazing product. This time I stumbled on two great looking CPU coolers, the Mya and Delos. The first is a standard single tower design, with a slim 120mm fan up front. The second uses only 92mm fans, but three of them, and with dual towers. Both of them have fantastic RGB lighting. Continue reading “Raijintek Mya and Delos RBW – Two Fantastic RGB Air CPU Coolers!”

Arctic Liquid Freezer 2 is a Beast of a CPU Cooler!

Arctic Liquid Freezer 2 CPU Cooler News

The Social Media News

I love having an Instagram account. Not only is it a great place for up and coming PC builders, but I run across some surprising announcements. Like this one from Arctic Cooling. Looks like their CLC units are getting an update in the form of the Liquid Freezer 2. The key factor here is that Arctic was able to design their own pump. However, the liquid cooler looks like an absolute beast of a CPU cooler as well. In terms of performance and style, it looks like Arctic is doing everything right.

SilverStone AP181 180mm Fans Review – Vortex Airflow

SilverStone AP181 Fans Airflow Test

Optimizing Case Airflow

A long time ago, I set out to change how airflow works on the PC. In short it was successful, but not nearly enough to make any important difference. However, SilverStone cued me in on the fact that focused airflow fans can perform better for cases. The design is called a vortex, which the AP181 fans use in a large 180mm diameter for optimal case airflow. They asked me if I would like to test the fans in my own AFX (Airflow Extreme) case I recently built. Continue reading “SilverStone AP181 180mm Fans Review – Vortex Airflow”
